Tips for Using the Catalog

If you click the red arrow by the Log In Button in the very top right hand part of the screen, you can use your school ID (lunch number) and log into your library account.  When you click on the tab My Account, you can renew books online, or you can search for books and request them to put them on hold for you in the library.

If you click the Research Tools tab, it will take you to our library databases.  Use Searchasausus to find magazine articles for your research, or the World Book and Encyclopedia Brittanica to search for encyclopedia entries on your topic.

When searching for books, use the key word search to get the widest variety of search results.  Make sure that you are spelling everything correctly; the catalog doesn't recognize spelling errors.  Use a Word processor, like Microsoft Word, to check your spelling.  You can also search by Author, Title, and Subject.
